Since the unbanning of voice over internet protocol (VOIP)

in 2004 (Viva la Revolución!), it has grown from geeky pursuit to mainstream sensation; dodgy calls to carrier-class service. Recently, cheap, copious bandwidth further boosted VOIP, including cloud PBX offerings.
